Could someone please tell the best wind direction?tide for speedsailing at Brancaster :)
Brancaster is OK in an offshore SSW - agreed ... however, it can be V V crowded with kites.

Hunstanton's offshore sand bank is where I've been sailing most lately.. it's good in a SW (SSW or WSW) - BUT - and this is not criticism - it is a highly favoured spot for the FREESTYLE boys as we rarely get flat water out here.. so when it's good, you are picking your way through the guys popping flakas and vulcans... and as it was those boys that first found the spot - I'm doing my best not to get in anyone's way....

Given the choice - and the time - I'd pack the van and head to West Kirby - but living just 1/2 mile away, it's my handy local venue... just watch the FREESTLE boys - and the kiters !! :-)

PS - on a low water it's a 10 min walk - then 800m across the swell, then another 10 min walk !!
