Missed out on the strong winds of yesterday, might have gone to Southend but our son Rob was up for the weekend so stayed in Felixstowe and had a lovely time with Rob and his girlfriend Hannah:) Rob and I went down to the Ferry beach to chat to his kite mates and although the sea conditions were good, the sw wind was a bit off making it gusty close in and then it rained so we went home. The forecast was promising today with no rain and 20 mph of wind, Mag and I went to the Rembrance Day Service on the seafront while Rob went to Trimley go have ago on a trials bike!!! Then after lunch we headed to the beach and the wind had returned after a lull! I even rigged a 6.5 which was a mistake as I struggled to get going but it was great to be out on the water with kiter Rob who sailed up to met me :) I then came ashore and changed to 7.8 but I thought I had made a mistake as the wind picked up but it was short lived and I had a few nice runs through the rough rivermouth and then broad for a mile down the coast. The wind then dropped and we packed up as it got dark :( I used my new Mstic wetsuit for the first time and was toasty:) It's looking to be windy all week but I am working!

PS - we were sitting chatting on the beach after the session when a stupid dog walker let his dog run amoke running right across a mates sail!!! We had a few words after I  told him to keep his dog under control and that he wouldn't like a bill for a new sail!!!!
