Very choppy, tried the SS26, did only 3 runs in the fast zone.

Superb day at my home spot.Lots of locals on the water. At start the wind didn't seem to be extremely strong. So started with 6,3m2 hoping for the wind to increase. But, when on the water, I was surprised that I was powered up ok immediately. Gradually the wind strength increased and I got a bit overpowered. But no real control problems. The combo was performing very well. I was on 66.2 average when my energy was almost gone. But then the others decided at around 17.00h they were going to have some steak. Of course I could not resist going there with them. Made my five fasteste runs there but lacked the energy to realy go for it. All in all, one of the best day this year so far. Nice to see the average age of the speedies going down and the PB's of the youngsters going up.

Mooi dagje op Makkum, heerlijk gevaren, kreeg hem maar niet over de 70 :) Maar super leuk, volgens mij nog nooit zoveel speedies op het water gezien ! Briljant dus.... Trots op Stijn met zijn nieuwe PR 54 AVG en 57 MAX Hoppa :)

Mooie middag! Voor de eerste keer geproefd van het Biefstuk. Ging weer lekker hard vandaag.

Nice afternoon with many Makkum locals and others. Late in the afternoon we found some flat water at our famous "steak" secret spot. My last three runs in the session contained my best two of the whole afternoon. Nice to see 75 on the dial and a run of 72,7. Nice battle with Fabian.

Congrats to young Stijn de Bruin, who improved on his AVG PB with almost 5 km/h in these not-easy conditions. Well done!

Super leuke middag met veel (speed) surfers. Moest op tijd weg, dus helaas niet (stiekem) in het 'biefstuk' gevaren. Dus blij met dit gemiddelde.
