Day 2 of the NWF Speed Challenge.

We arrived at the beach to find the wind was unexpectedly strong... 7.0m weather. The forecast predicted a drop in strength around the time of the competition so I rigged the 7.8m and debated whether to rig the 6.4m or 8.6m. In the end, I rigged neither due to pure laziness!

When the course opened the wind suddenly dropped to 8.6m strength and the 7.8m was never really powered. I persevered just in case I caught a lucky gust but I should really have come back and rigged the 8.6m.

It was still a fun session if a little slow for the kit.

day 2 of the NWF speed challange , same direction but wind was dieing very fast , had maybe 20 knots at 9 am but dropped to 10 by midday

tried a 7.8 and my is107 but didnt really happen so i borrowed a freinds 9.5 and put it on my IS130 , with my 47 bpf , that worked a treat

so much so that i got fastest of the day on the sunday and overal for the 2 days ,nice trophy for NWF

well stoked
