Lovely day at Salty Lake..dodging rooky kitesurfers and lyton's foil board.  Started off on Isonic 131 + Redline 8.2m and finished on the IS111 + 7m when all the best speeds were recorded.  Bit unprepared as there has been a wind famine for about 5 weeks..but could have got onto something smaller if I had packed it!!

Why go abroad..no wetsuit required.

first time out in this country for 2 months or more

took 4 boards  in bags and zips were all welded shut with salt  to all 4

i used all 4  boards  eocet cross , rrd z133 at start ,110 rrd z for hour  hawk 100  not all at once  but would have looked a bit of fun

used 7,9 cambered for an hour or more  DRRR

then 7.3  with hawk  i needed it

me arms told me

took big kit was'nt expecting that sort of wind it's been so long and we needed it !

started on futura 131 & 7.8 then swapped for exocet RS 4 and 7.2 vmax perfect.

RS was superb it even has a whistle at speed , like mad max when he switches on his super charger in the chase .

sailed to there was no more wind to push me along lovely day

Great days sailing sun and wind (at last). I started on my iSonic 130 and Severne Overdrive 8.5 then when the wind filled in I switched to my iSonic 107 still with the 8.5. The 107 and 85 worked really well even though I was rather maxed but great fun.
