That blew the cobwebs away!

The fin i used was one i made 300 mm and for my results  ,,       Drrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.....

welcome back!

A little wipeout forced a premature finish, never mind it's been a long wait for a bit of wind!

First real blow for some months and of course accompanied by rain.  Felt pretty square, with some serious gusts that felt like hammer blows into the sail!  Forgot how much hard work strong winds are..for me at least. Happy with the 10s averages! Managed to last an hour..but a big congratulations to Tris's team OTC T15 doing their sunrise to sunset challenge in aid of Will Mackaness Trust.  What a great day to pick!

It felt like autumn had arrived, dark skies, good wind and some stingy rain. Good to have 3 members of the family on the water today.

Nice to be back!

Wind at last..........

Great day on the water used 3 boards and 2 sails the 5.5m and 80 litre worked best when the wind came through. My best run was as soon as i got on this gear and i was thinking this could be a pb day? As it happened the runs were too square for my liking i could get 36+ max's quite easily but holding it down over the chop, no chance i'm either not good enough or out of practice.

All in all a good day though.......

A tad choppy on starboard tack, but very smooth on port... sadly 3 months since the last speed session showed.

Disappointing session, topped off by breaking my UJ... fortunately not very far out.
