Wunderschöner Surftag, nicht mehr so stark als gestern, immernoch stark, wollte heut mal schauen wie schnell mein JP59 so gehen kann, hab upwind bei den Felsen ein paar Halsen gemacht und bin dann sehr hoch in den Kurs reingekommen. Finne geht super, könnte auch eine 30er sein. Hat irre Bechleunigung und geht ganz sicher. Wenn mal die Böe durch den ganzen Kurs geht,  knack ich den 40er mit dem Setup.

Tested around with fins a lot today, maybe I stayed a bit too long on the SP44 until I swiched to SP48. 

GAsoil worked well today, also upwind.

First time on Karpathos! First time on proper/serious speed gear....so first time on the Starboard W54, Challenger Sails Aero+ 5,5 and first time with the MXR fin. Must say that the first two days were devastating.....everything was new and I had the feeling that I had to learn to surf again . Devils Bay?...I wonder why they named it like this haha. 

Today was a better day...sailed quite a while and confidence is growing...happy about the speeds I even got a very small PR on the 2 seconds. Sailed the whole time with the 5,5 (excellent sail) which was enough for me. A big thank you to Johan (the master), Oane (fellow team mate) and Eric for the given advices....they where and are most welcome .

I think with a lot of  practice and fine tuning I will get more confortable with the gear. 

Nice to meet the Swedish guys, I am very impressed about their speeds and way of speedsurfing. Super nice, wide range of  gear they have .

I will drink in the comming days a nice cold Mythos with Markus . MYTHOS TIME!

Today really tried my new Lovemachine 49 out, great board that is easy to sail and feel fast and slippery.

Sailed it with one safe and favorite fin Hurricane rake 30 25cm.

Lets hope for nice winds nd new power in my body tomorrow.

Great to see Luca flying up and down the course today. Once you get him going, there's no stopping him. Well, for a cold Mythos maybe.

Personally some mixed feelings about the last couple of days. I can handle the (sometimes rough) conditions, which I really like, but I just can't seem to get any good speeds. I've tried quite a few different things gear wise, so I guess it's down to me now. I did find out though that whatever the conditions, I should use the same sail size as the big boys. Ah well, still a few days to figure some stuff out, otherwise I'll just have to wait one year :P

Honestly, it's so nice not having to figure out where to sail, just get your gear from the box, rig it and go. I could so get used to this =)

Great day for me. Broke quite a few of my records. Was a little less windy then the two days before but still enough for the 6.0 (full profile). Direction was very broad and going upwind was a little easier then yesterday. Did a lot of runs.

Also it was very 'gezellig' on the water.

3-e dagen efter landningen! 1 dagen knäskada efter andra repan , idiotvind!

Uttänjt inre ledband , fick köra med voltaren ett par dagar och vila en.

Blåsigaste veckan på mkt länge sa dom , 11 bauford på flygpatsen och mellan 30-40 m/s på natten!

Första dagen i detta blåshål......kaos :)
