Wind forecast was for a SE picking up all day so I got on the water early

Pretty cold and once I'd got upwind to the course the wind was too strong and it was just too much hanging onto a 9m with a tight leech and loads of power.

The little course I sailed on monday looked ok but once I'd got each downwind run it was pretty dangerous and difficult since I had no control. Got one ok run in a lull with a decent Vmax. If only I could have got some decent shape and a loose leech on the sail, then speeds over 30 would not have been a problem. The wind  then got up to a solid 25knots in places so I called it a day quite early
