Nice to get out after the wind draught. Was going to rig a 9.5m and an XL slalom board, glad I didn't as the wind eventually picked up. First half of the session was on the iS107 with 34.5k max speed, with 33k being the normal, and then the wind picked up later in the day, I switched to the W58 Speed Special and an old C3 Zulu 32cm fin. The W58 was faster with a max speed at 37.9k on the display and most runs were 35k peak. The 8.6m is going to be a usefull light wind sail, faster than the 9m it replaced, result:)

Great session:)

Arrived around lunch time to hardly any wind and reports of "you should have been here earlier coz everyone was flying on 5.4's" but now it had really dropped off and the decision on what to rig was going to be tricky. Was initially going to go with my iS144 and 9.8 X-15 with the hope of being able to pump onto the plane but after about an hour the wind slowly started to fill in and with a forecast of more wind in the afternoon I decided to go with my iS111 and 8.5 Lightning. This served ok for most of the afternoon but by mid afternoon the wind picked up a few notches and I decided the only way I was going to go faster was to change down so I switched to my iS86 and 6.4 X-15 from which the speeds in this posting were had.

Had a great afternoon on the water and a good catch up with the lads.

Nice one to Mark.H who was untouchable on his is107 / 8.6 Warp and took the day.
