Well I got sailing, its pretty frustrating when everyone in Holland is getting 40 averages week after week but heh ho.

Started at Gwithian, it was really windy and bolt offshore so rigged my old 6m twin cam since there were breaking waves, it was very difficult and just as I started sailing down to Hayle I snapped my mast. The long walk back was zero fun. Had no choice but to goto the lake since I had no wave gear.. should have gone to marazion for jumping etc.

On arrival my parents were there so got out on the 7m Simmer, hideous direction and gusty. Added to that I sailed dreadfully..spent most of my time trying to waterstart then snapped a north pin. The wind did eventually pick up but there was not really anywhere to sail in clean wind or out of the chop. Sorry Chris - still not got the opportunity to test this fin out properly. It's been very difficult to get any proper sailing here in Cornwall on the slalom gear over the last couple of years now the weather has changed, we used to sail regularly week after week, now sailing is such a rare occurance and everytime I go out Im crap!

At least I've got back into my surfing though after being bored of that for years.. The waves have been great

I'd have preferred to have been on slalom kit but travelling light meant that I only had freestyle / wave kit with me. Speed runs with a little Baker freestyle fin (ignore the Choco stated above) felt suicidal over chop but were quite fun nonetheless and a good test of nerve. I wondered who was on a Simmer and Falcon but looking at the recent sessions I guess it must have been Adam Gustafsson.
