Yesterday there was no official race in Gruissan. Only a few dare devils showed there speed/slalom talent between waves from 2m. However the race commité heard about the session on La Nautique where we (at least all the Belgians which were present) reached at least (the min required) 27 kts on the 500m. So today the skippers meeting was held at La Nautique. The wind was alot less and they were aiming for a slalom course on the lake. Finally even that was not possible in winds from 8-12 kts.

Again I used my biggest gear (Falcon SL104 & Mega XS 7.5) which was by far the smallest set on the water. Also found some time to test the Falcon SL 124 (2008) and the Falcon SL 122 (2010). I prefer the 2008 version. However, my 5 fastest runs were made on my own 104L board.

I already have some sun burns on my face and arms. Hopefully tomorrow a few kts more and maybe the first day on the water for our team mate Patje Para who stayed in bed for 4 days with vertigo (evenwichtsverlies).

Light wind session in the sun!
