Another fun day at the Ray - dry, warm(ish) and windy (wsw)! To begin with it was surprisingly choppy and on my second run I managed to spin out at 35 knots. Somehow I managed to regain control (much to the surprise of Ian who was watching from the bank) so no harm was done to myself or my kit! We spent pretty much all of the session doing short runs (250m) at the top of the east course and there were only six sailors out in total - 4 speedies and 2 freeriders. The water flattened off towards the end of  the session but it didn't turn out to be a day for PBs. Still... a 35 knot average counts as a worthwhile session for me and it certainly beats working! Ian was flying after yesterdays warm up session and he was dialled in to the conditions right from his first run today.

Tech Details: Navi GT-31 V1.4 (B0803T), GPSResults v6.90, Doppler, Cubic Spline.

2nd day on the Ray, met up with Mike G and had a good fun session. Thanks to Will T for lend of board, shame you could'nt make it Will, hopefully next time???
Conditions bit square and choppy on the east course, even right close to the sand bar, bear offs were suicidal!! bit underpowered with the 5.5 but can't complain, beats working :D

First time using a narrow speed board. I was surprised how easily it got going. Achieved a few good runs and then lost the tail bearing away over chop at the start of the course. All happened a bit quick but bashed my bonce on something much harder than me. Had a few more runs but didn't match the earlier speeds. Next time.  Enjoyed meeting the guys, and watching their runs. Great day and want to do it again.
