Quick late aftenoon session. Gusts up to about 15k, lulls as low as 10k. NW direction. Nice and sunny but only short runs in this NW direction. Nice session

Arrived late at 4:00pm with the chance of an evening session. Wind defnately NW despite Hilbre showing WNW and too broad for the wall. Just as I was thinking of packing up the wind veered as I was sailing toward the wall. Bingo - the next hour saw some of the steadiest 9m westerly that I have ever experienced - not super powered up but so constant that getting in the straps somehow miraculously made the board plane. Just myself and Nick on the water - which was glassy smooth and would have beeen bathtub perfect were it not for the pack of racing dinghies which created some smooth chop. One hour later I had not stopped once from planing up and down the wall. Retired knackered but happy. Once again the iS133 and 9.0 earn their keep - most popular sail this year.
