Lake George, South Australia.

Wow! What a day! Possibly the strongest wind this season. Definitly gusting over 30 Knots.

Went with the CA40 and 5.2m and that was spot on. Really getting worked in some of the big gusts upwind, but fully lit in the gusts off the wind. I was doing almost every run with over 41 peaks and a few with over 42 peaks but coud not quite crack the 43 peak. I have lost a few KG, so maybe I need to wear some weight again? Nah... too hard on the old body. And that was sooooo much fun!!

I actually felt the need to stop to turn around quite a bit, as Gybing in the gusts was pretty hairy, even in the flat water!  That's a pain in the thick weed in Kevs bay.

Sam was SMOKIN'!!  I recon PD was too when I saw him but I think he might have spent a lot of his pennies on the earlier Hr attempt!

Anyhow, did I mention how much FUN that was!! LOL! That was really worth the big drive over!!

Looks like there may be a bit of wind tomorrow, but probably back to 20-25 knots. That will be fine with me.

By the way. I think I have pinpointed the area where Rodneys Rocks are on the GPS. (I missed them, with the 16cm fin, but others tapped them with 20's)  Now we need a marker for it as it's pretty close to an excellent speed run in this water level and wind direction.
