De zaterdag-sessie met meer dan genoeg wind, helaas de trim nog niet op orde! Ed nog Bedankt voor de aanwijzingen, nu maar weer hopen op snel weer wat stormen om het in de praktijk te brengen.

Bovenal drie dagen top op Franqui met veel gezelligheid.

Das erste mal mit dem soeben gekauften Falcon 52,5 gefahren und gleich meinen persönlichen Rekord verbessert.

Fun day with friends, today waas a pleasure to sail with only some speedsurfers compared to yesterdays crowds of kiters etc. 

Conditions were very broad and some chop, happy with the vmax not so much with my runs, but could raise my pb 500m to over 40... finally, fun times here in france with andreas and everyone on the beach :)

not my day, gisteren pijn in mijn rug overgehouden en dat wekte niet erg mee vandaag.

 Nice windsurf session , but way to short did only 7 run and a nautical but the last one was  not long anough.  did Sail with the 5,8 and a stif mast , wrong desision in so much wind, but i did not expect  40 knots gusts.  So after the 7 runs waiting on the beach,  hopfully will change the derction to more west , No way!!!!   That was the day.   Yesterday i forgot  our Swiss team  in Nationalities. ha ha  (Heidi)

Niet echt de dag waarop gehoopt. Bij aankomst geen wind, toen de wind kwam had je eigenlijk meteen moeten varen. In het begin liep het niet lekker. Ik hing niet zo lekker aan mn zeil zoals gisteren, vlagen kon ik niet goed omzetten in snelheid. Veel geprobeerd met afstelling trapezetouwen en mastvoetposities, op het laatst had ik een beter gevoel. Ook 3 vinnen geprobeerd, de x2w 20, maar die vond ik te klein, de z-vin en de hotrod. De hotrod was niet snel, hier een mooie vlaag mee onbenut gelaten om de 77 gem te halen. Alle runs met de z-vin. Laatste runs waren het snelst toen het beter ging lopen. Echter toen draaide de wind teveel door en werd het erg golverig. Lang gewacht maar het werd niet beter en de wind nam ook nog af.

At start of the day 08.00 AM no wind at all, finally at 09.00 hours there happens something and at one moment, 10 minutes later we had 30-40 knots.

So rigged up the Reflex R8 5.7 and went to the water and made some speeds.

The wind was very broad, about 310-320 degrees, so starting was more difficult and there was rolling chop on the speedstrip. Slingshotted one time, but give me not a comfortable feeling, to went in straight line at the beach and tried to keep safe.

Although, the wind shifted more and more to NNW and stopped after a few hours, had some good speeds and a lot of fun, that's most important.

Nice to surf again with Gerlof, Hendrik and DirkJan and the other speedies!

I didn't have a lot of energy after a week of work and after a night of driving, and I wasted that bit of energy...

Rigged 5.6m at 9h30 while no wind. When I was in the water ready to go, wind increased big time. Back to the car for the 5m, after rigging that one wind decreased again, so back on the water with 5.6m.

After three runs (all 78-79km/u) I felt limited with this windstrenght and I went back for the 5m...

Afterall run nr1 and 3 with the 5.0m and the rest with the EvoX 5.6m, so I think the 5.6 would have been the best and fastest choice overall.
