First time out in Southend & on a proper speed board. Was trying to get 40 knots. Didn't quite happen. 39.53 knots top max. Happy with that.

Off to buy a new harness now

Had to be done with lockdown looming, 6.30am walk out with Will... could of got out 15-20 minutes earlier as was plenty light enough.
Wind was already starting to ease back but at least we both got on the one decent gust which kind of made our day lol. After that the wind went West and died.
Thanks Steve Cook of Fhot for great repair of my Z21 felt faster than ever..

Proper dawn raid on Southend - rigging up in the dark and walking out with Ian at Sunrise. It was looking really fast to start with and I thought we were on for some big speeds but the front came through and killed the wind. Picked up later and turned more West but for some reason (incoming tide?) it was hard breaking 40kts. Still stoked to get one run powered up - gives a taste of things to come.

Too late to the party today, should have got there an hour earlier, but i was not getting up at 4am!! by the time we rigged and walked down to the water, the best of it had blown through!! never really properly powered.
