Second time on RRD X-fire 112 Ltd, this time on the flat waters of Strand Horst. The wind was minimal but rainclouds brought a nice breeze and some good gusts.
The board feels fantastic and is very easy to ride, I changed the footstraps more towards the back and outside so now you can really push against the rail upwind. The humps in the back footpad really help to tilt the board and ride that fin upwind. I had the mastfoot to far forward so it felt a bit sticky, moved it back about 3cm and the thing just took off. Its faster on a plane then my iS122 even though its 6cm narrower.
It had no problem handling the 9.0 Warp and had plenty of lift with the 41 cm fin. So up till now very happy with the performance of this board.

tjonge jonge wat een vervelende wind was het zeg. aan uit, noord,noord west, en noord oost.
na iets meer dan 1 uur te hebben gedobberd hadden we er wel genoeg van.
dat was het einde van de vakantie

Snel weer gestopt.
had even een JP 120 liter geleend bij het testcentrum, kon ik tenminste nog even planeren.
Snel vergeten die dag.

| Wat late posting. Paar vlaagjes kunnen pakken. Had geen zin om noch op die bui te wachten, had ik beter wel kunnen doen, misschien dan de 60+ gehaald?
