Forecast was for some superstrong wind so rigged the 5.5. On the water the conditions were unsailable at first, not enough wind to sail in on 80% of the course bar the odd 40 knot gust! Really frustrating and impossible to get any runs in. A huge squall with a load of rain followed and the wind switched to a more west direction and dropped by about 15 knots but steadied out along the run. At this point 5.5 was way too small so pleased to get a 39.5 peak in super light conditions!
