Wow, that was quite a day...
When I came there it took a long time before I got on the water: a friend of mine is learning to windsurf and when we were finally done the owner of the sailing school said he didn't want him to go. So after 1,5 hrs I could finally go and I must say: it was good that my friend didn't go.

It was choppy, véry choppy! Waves started to form and on some moments they would even collapse. There was absolutely no chance of going broad. And there I was; surfing on a board (and volume) which I hadn't sailed for about half a year. I was really struggling to get control over the board: there's still a lot of work to be done on the trim and my footstraps didn't feel very secure. On the moments that I did have control, the fin was simply too big: my new 29 would have gotten me way higher speeds. Stupid, stupid stupid: I should have known...

The one thing I'm very pleased about is that my speeds are quite consistent, but still they are way to low.

Hopefully I'll do better next time, this sucks big time!
