Good steady breeze just after high tide. SW - no good for runs along bar, so managed some fast runs across the spit. Got it all wrong. Lost my bearing, way too high on last run, fin hitting the top of the spit - Oooops - Over the handle bars!!! All okay and remarkably Hotrod held up with just a little leading edge sanding required.
Derigging noticed that I had my top luff zipper unzipped. Explains the upper sail turbulence flapping throughout the session!! Doh!!!
