Today was a cold day with sun , clowd and hail storms at 4-5c. high tide was at 10.29am and so got there and set up and waited for lake to tide to start to go down. When its very full the wind make it choppy and it better after it starts to drop. This is first try with new used F2 Missle 63lt board. took me about 6 runs and then managed to get in both foot starps  and once in this is really comfortable to bear away. I am well pleased with this new board. It needed more wind and for it to be more broad as this was the fastest it would go. I used a 28cm sanded down and now 27cm Nic Baker Carbon Fin and worked great.

Today was a where to go day as been no wind for 5-6 weeks. So glad I decided on west kirby. wind was mostly south then south west and finaly south west in late afternoon. Board old Exocet warp and T Zone 32 fin which is pefect in both flat and chop as rock solid. Lovely sunny day with odd small shower. High tide at 12.21pm did not beach wall at 8.50m and so able to sail all day. Wind was patchy and so at times had to wait 20-30 minutes

So glad I decided to drive up ( came up night before ) as the wind was very nice and constant from 10.00am till 2.30 with only odd lulls. Warp 80lt and tried 28cm fin and worked ok with only slight wobble one slip but changed to trusted 32cm fin as perfect cross wind and in any chop. Rain stayed away till late afternoon. Today I had my first go on the sea as 9.20m high tide, but 34cm fin a tad big as when out 20 mins after tide started to go out and found out I had a long walk back, lesson learnt. I came in and redemed my long walk by going out on Rocket 105 and 6.2 cam sail back on the lake, wind was more south south west and dropping off but still had fun.
