Finally for me also the first session for 2018 in the pocket. Wind increased gradually after I started. So I was lucky I chose the 6.3m2. The water level was extremely high for winter as in the rest of the Netherlands. So you could easily sail close to shore at the Piaam side of Makkum. Also no signs now for the natural preservation area. So you can legally sail all the way to Workum if you like :)
