Windiest day  of my trip to Avon, NC.  Started the day on a 5.3, then rigged a 4.2 when the wind built through the morning, then the 3.7.  This was not the fastest day, but it sure was a great time playing in the chop and solid 35 to 45 mph winds.

When the wind built past 30 knots, many windsurfers and all the kiters cleared off the water, leaving the dozen or so high wind sailors for two hours of high wind sailing. Sailed with Fred, Mark W., and Steve for the high wind action.

Watching Mike Burns do tricks on his 3.7 was a treat, he did some loops and shove-it 360's right next to me on the water.
