West 11 to 14 knots.
Nice sunny day and pleasant planing day with a few others out.
There is no substitute for a 10.8 in these conditions - although not very fast you're always on the plane.
The big slalom gear earns it's keep yet again.

Nice light wind day. Sailed with Peter C & Nick. The forcasted 20k westerly never showed up, instead we had 8 to 12k with the odd 14k gusts from a WNW/NW, so could only squeeze out runs of 200m. Only 7 or 8 degrees but the sun made it feel warmer.
nice sail

West.
Busy lake - Cold day and quite gusty - but good to be out after a long time with no wind.
Flattened off later and got more comfortable - but still no great speed.

West
What could have been a brilliant day to follow after Sunday just never delivered.
Sunny, quiet and a significantly warmer than yesterday - but only 20 knots of wind.
Myself and Paul spent all afternoon cruising up and down the wall with the lake to ourselfves on 6.4's but never near over powered.
That's windsurfing.
And when I get home I look in the mirror to find - would you believe - a bit of sunburn on the face!

Quick evening session.
Not quite windy enough for the 6.4 but a pleasant enough blast

Sneaky evening session on slalom kit.
Rigged up a 7.7 but changed to 6.4 at the last minute - must have been around 25 knots westerly.
As the light faded it was real good fun to be out on the water again.
Not the fastest session ever but 10 out of 10 for enjoyment.

Evening session which had promise but never lasted.
Initially iffy on a 6.4 the wind kicked in and for a very short time I was well powered on a 6.4.
Went in to get the speedboard (thus wasting the best 15 minutes of the session) but on getting out. after one or two really gusty and ridiculously choppy runs the wind switched off to nil and after half an hours wait Mark H and myself had to walk the boards back the full lenght of the lake.
