When the weather was clear, bright and hot already in the morning, I was quite confident we would get at least some wind to play with at the end of the afternoon, but this was more than what I could hope for!
Arrived close to half past 4, rigged up and sailed until 8. By then the wind still had not completely died down and I could get planing with a bit of pumping. The 117 is just such an awesome board (and not just in these conditions!) But with 75 km's sailed in awesome conditions, it was time to call it a day.
Good fun today slaloming with Frank (who could not resist the conditions either) and the fresh recruits of SurfAce. Surprisingly, mostly women!
Hoping for more days like this, NE is so good in these conditions!
