A lot of suunto watch users at the moment and all we can choose is the suunto M9.

I use a suunto ambit 3 sport and would like to have the opportunity to choose that one. Is there a possibility to do so?

Guess this is not that important.. I do understand but for people just joining getting their hands on a gt31 is hard and teh gw52 is . oh well. So the non national and world record speedies will look for alternatives.

Sorry for the late response, we already put this on our backlog ("worklist") , so it will be there in one of the next releases. Please keep in mind that the Suunto Ambit is only approved for day-to-day cruising and not for official rankings or records. We have done a lot of testing with both the Ambit2 and Ambit3 series, and we have noticed that sometimes speeds are not that accurate compared to the GT-31, GW-52 or Thingsee.

Thanks. I decided to sell the gt-31 after 2 sessions sailing both devices and not finding much difference. Even 2 gt31's show different speeds.

But for me as a slow surfer I don't mind about the official rankings as I will not be in them anyway :)
