Even more windy than the day before, so no 5,0 like I planned to. Gusts up till 55 knots (wild guess), actually strong enough to blow you of your feet and to get sandblasted through the skin. I'm still peeling of sandgrains all over my body haha. The 4,2 felt nice, even in the strongest gusts but the water surface was too wild to go really fast.

This session showed me how much wind we can actually handle with modern day gear, but it also showed the importance of a flat water surface. I had one run in which the wind simply blew me off my feet because the board couldn't hold track with the windspeed on the severe chop. Since the course was very broad the board simply didn't accellerate enough to go with the flow and I was lifted out of the straps and smacked headfirst onto the mast.
