Fun Day, Marazion is not known for speedsailing but we had a good Force 6 NE in Newquay so I knew it would be cross off. It was a Bit Sketchy since temperature was about 5 degrees and wind was pretty much offshore so stayed close in and hunted the gusts. Started off with C4 6.8 speed but switched down to a 5.9 as gusts were a handful with the bigger sail. Difficult to get high speeds since a big wind shadow was created by the sea wall and land so mainly burst speeds in the short lived Gusts. Best Vmax spoiled by a scary spin out at around 34, glad the rail did not catch.
Really enjoyed being back on the water and sailed for nearly 3 hours, having not had any sailing for 6 weeks
