Great sailing again, Decent wind, fairly powered on my 6m in the Gusts, the course was totally square, so you just had to bear off into full on chop and try and hold it for a few seconds. It looks like I wasn't holding it for long enough, since burst speeds deteriorate quickly, and average is way down LOL but good slightshot practice. Great to sail with steve and Simon, Talking of Simon, he was showing balls of steel today, bearing off through the high chop and waves to get a 39 peak, I followed him on one run but pulled out quick as the chop was insane. I still cannot believe it's july and we are getting such amazing sailing. Used the tectonics 26 today, it's hideous for getting upwind on a 60cm wide slalom board, but rocks going downwind. It will certainly be getting more use.
