Chris arrived after a long drive from France and we had the opportunity to have one last sail together at Horst. I'm glad the windgods have granted us the opportunity to have a sail together over there. He had lots of stories about his trip and it was a fun way to say goodbye before he leaves. Roger, Dylan and John have met him on this trip as well and were present to have a sail with him as well. Great!

Amazingly the speeds were just about the same for the third day in a row. We have had 56 consecutive days with wind which isn't really common in Holland, so we have been lucky this past week. Makes up for the bad spring season so far.

The new X1 fin was flying of the wind. Its a little harder to get upwind in those conditions but it rocks one you bear of and really go for it. Its such a smooth ride. Really incomparible with any other fin design I've ever used. You need to be powered up to benefit from it and I am starting to find out that the trusted Z series works best in light, moderate and gusty conditions and the X series takes over when speeds are reached in excess of 65 kilometer.

I also adjusted the trim on the Stealth 6.5 the last couple of days. I put 4cm! more downhaul than shown on the sail and it really rocks in the gusts. The windspeed was less but I reached the highest 500 mtr speed of the last couple of days with this sailtrim. Once lit it just keeps on going with this trim. The sail is extremely versatile since you can really play with the downhaul and get totally different charasteristics for different windspeeds.
