I’ve sailed yesterday and took my monster. It was soooooo much fun. First I took the small speed/slalom but it was too choppy for record breaking conditions. I didn’t feel like rigging another sail because it was extremely cold (4 degrees with water temperature close to 0). So I decided to take monster out 250x65(one foot of width is 48cm!) with the 5.0 expecting to be back within two legs.

This didn't happen, stayed out all afternoon having a blast. This is how it must feel while driving a Bentley on a racing circuit. Amazingly the trim felt fine, the board must be able to handle sail sizes from 9.0-5.0 with ease. It’s like a downsized formula, but it barely touches the water and works like a powerboat trimaran.

First Ron didn’t want to build me this length and nose width. He was sure it was going to fly away. But I convinced him; he adjusted the scoopline to the outline and it literally flies. Acceleration is insane. It really feels like an enormous American V12 is building up the pressure when pushing the throttle and then it just goes and goes without any restraint. The board starts to shake; your knees are getting weak and the speed sensation is HUGE. Terrific day.

The Stealth felt fine again. Made a small adjustment by putting spacers in. This worked very nicely indeed.
