This was an intense session with a nasty chop which made it virtually impossble to go any faster at a certain level. Not the smooth feeling horst is known for. The wind was very gusty like it has been the last couple of times.

The wind was actually too strong for the spot. We are not sailing behind a sandbar but on open water. Normally it stays pretty flat indeed and in summer when the grass is covering the water it can be like the canal, the perfect speedspot. Now the small but nasty chop pushed the board around like a bouncing ball.

However it was a great sight to see Dylan, Robert and others really going for it. It's truly amazing how everyone has progressed the last year. The training really starts to pay of. Go for it guys!!!
