today was a really nice day at waikanae for a speedsurf.
sunny, warm, flat water, only the wind was a bit light.
the course was anything from square to 120deg. it wwas hard to find the right combination of strong wind and a broader course as the wind was all over the place direction and windstrength wise

we thought we were smart and go sailing in the incoming tide today..., but as it turned out the wind was very northerly. so we were saiing against the tide for most of the time again. except a few runs right at the end where the tide started turning but never got strong and then the wind died.

i did some more modifications to the AHD53, which seemed to work very well. i moved the whole mast track 10cm further back. it's quite an old board and the back of the track was at 134cm. the sweet spot today with the new configuration was at 128cm.

i also treid a new configuration of one of the new speed fins, which worked extremly well and gave the board a very smooth and predictable ride.
