Cold, sunny and from time to time windy day at La Franqui. I had some good runs today, but not every run was fast as the wind was down from time to time. The max speed on my second gps was 93,8 km/h , i had some insane acceleration in a big gust and was difficult to break without crashing. Average on this gps was just a bit better and now i have the fastest and second fastest session sailed in 2015 sofar. Vincent is improving every session and sailed today the fastest gps session ever sailed by a belgian windsurfer (excluding Luderitz). Super Vincent!

Nice results for Vincent good to see competition is coming from Belgium well done mate!!!! Didn't have my mojo today maybe it was because because of yesterdays crash and was testing new profiles which i couldn't get working no pain no gain. Maybe because the angle was to square. Happy to see almost everybody on the water with Z-fins and JP/NP must be doing something good ;)

Thank Hans for the Z fin

The day started badly after rigging my 5.0 i put a hole in my sail from my go pro mount on my helmet, so had to take my 5.4m.

I was finding it difficult to get good speeds with the rolling chop and after doing a 40 kn back loop decided to quit whilst i was still in one piece...

Think its time to head back to the uk to do some work and gets some repairs done!

What a nice day, 100 kms of speedsurfing, cold but sunny.

The run was a bit hard to sail sometimes because there was some waves and seaweeds. I took some good gusts but couldn't find the right trim fast enough, then the wind dropped.

But still it's always super cool to sail on the flat water of Les Coussoules ;)

this was my first proper day at la franqui with some serious wind probably gusting towards 50 knots at times.

i was on my jp 49 with my evo 5  5.4 and a black project X 45

the course was very square and getting a good slingshot mean going of into rolling death chop resulting in one very amusing tumble.

hats off to the dutch guys jacques, hanz, and vincent for going into that chop at such speed.

cant wait to visit here again.

Hard day today @ la franqui!

much and constant wind in the morning!

spend to much time in rigging my new sails :-(

after 5 runs i changed the trim of the sail and went directly 8kmh faster....

had two nice runs and then my mast broke at the upwind course :-(

lost to much time for walking back at the beach for taking a new mast.

after this i had my fastet run.... it´s a shame that the wind died after this....feeling good with the new sails and for sure i could brake my pb... but the wind wasnt on my site...

anyway...nice trip to the speedparadies!

thanks to the GB and NL speeders for all the new tips and tricks :-)

i learned a lot in these days!

@ hans:bedankt for the Z Fin :-)

used a 5.1 reflex 6
