Today i tried Herkingen early in the morning and later Zonnemaire, just to find out which spot is faster with this wind direction. Plan was to do Oostvoorne after this but when i arrived at 15 hours the wind was not there. Both spots shows simular speeds considering at Herkingen i was super underpowered with my 5,4 this morning and on Zonnemaire i just rigged a bigger sail. I never use weight on lakes, i know extra weight can be 1 or 2 km faster but on a speedboard the weight doesn't help to get on the board and this is not so much fun. Use weight sometimes on tidal spots or La Franqui/ Luderitz when i need it to break (spot) records or when i need it to try to beat Hans;-).
Had a nice @500 at Zonnemaire with the Z assy fin and my NM was just a little bit to short to beat Hans his Nautical from Yesterday. Vincent is getting faster and faster and when i left from Zonnemaire to Oostvoorne he sailed a 10 seconds run of 80! Super!
