Uren wachten op wind....

uiteindelijk toch nog een paar mooie rakken mogen varen :)

South wind is one of my least favorite directions and that was once again confirmed today. Despite the good forecast the wind speed halved from about 16 knots to 8 knots by the time I arrived upwind. After half an hour hardly any planning my hope was gone and I returned home.

Everybody in the South of Holland was fooled big time... 20 to 28 knots were forecasted and about 10 knots showed up duuuuhhh. Pity I don't have my big van anymore, I missed my largest rig that didn't fit in the car together with the speedkit.

Still a very nice day with a lot of the usual suspects, great temperatures and sunshine!!!

toen het uiteindelijk een beetje goed ging  waaien brak  mijn giek. 3 km uit de kant.een zeilboot heeft mij gelukkig naar de kant gesleept.anders was het een eind dobberen.

Kon er geen chocola van maken....
