Found it difficult to get comfortable today. The course was very tight and the wind very gusty.

Had to bear away into the chop for best speeds. Nice to see a good turnout of speedies.

Not quite as windy as forecast when we first went out, so tried a few runs on a slalom set up. Now I'm completely knackered - too tired to say anything else.

Great to see some old faces. Especially Bob C. I'm still nursing my ribs from the bear hug :)

First off, the AB+ 106 is an incredible board. It handles chop like no other medium wind slalom board. The board trim was at the perfect angle, which i've been fighting on so many other boards. Thanks to Johnny Vapor for the use of the C3 Sting which didn't spin out once. Even under the most demanding of condition on the outside. It felt too small whn launching, but when up to speed it tracked like it was on rails.

The Demon Design Windspeed, when looking at it on the beach does not look at all like a speed sail. Very narrow luff tube and twin cams do not hinder it in any way when it comes to control. However stong the gust, on beam or broad. It just ate it and wanted more.

The fastest 500 was on the big coarse and the highest vmax was on the small course.

I'm knackered.

Great to See the King of the Slingshot back getting some top speeds
