PB day, 46.57kt peak, best 10s 44.44, improved 5x 10s by 0.8kt.

4.8 evoxi, SD40, 11kg lead.

Good to sail with the speed guys. Some good times being set.  I didn't start well,  not used to shall sails.  It took a few runs to get my confidence and harness lines set.  But had some good speeds.  Not quite a pb day but glad a went.

Slightly late to the party but still a PB session with >43 knots for 5 x10 s and 250 m.

My previous PBs were from way back in 2015, before I stopped travelling to West Kirby and Southend several times a year.

The kit felt good, especiially since it was the first time using the sail for speed and only its second ever session.

Nice to see a decent turnout from the UK. Congrats to Simon putting in such good speeds on his first ever trip to WK.

Best days windsurfing I've ever had.......... fantastic

Awesome session today at Kirby

like Mike said we should have got there early for the golden hour but I was up at 4am as it was to drive 3 1/2 hours to Kirby

hats of th Jim and Simon for being on the water at 8am

still a great day and great to see so many speed sailors out again

till the next time ??????

First trip to West Kirby ..and what a trip, great to have a load of mates from Dorset with me. Massive thanks to Jimmy for the fin loan and all the help..especially the breakfast burger haha.

I had a target of 45 knot 2 sec .. I smashed that so im super happy , wish I'd worn boots as my feet are in tatters and f###ing painful right now haha.

But yeah massively happy. Another day tomorrow

Windy day, and some mega times by all. Bit disappointed in my times though, some work to be done...

Relieved 1 of my 3 GPS devices worked today!

Great to see so many new faces today.  Also great to see so many smiles with lots of guys going away with PB's.

Well done to them all!  Conditions were not special but had a few moments when it was good.  I rigged in the dark this morning and was sailing at first light due to some of the forcasts showing it going too broard early...as it turned out, it was sailable all day...just a bit flatter and a bit faster in the morning.

I think my average and 500m could be a WK PB

He Jim

Vince did 48.7 av in Kirby??
