Such a unfortunate session. Started at ODH and sailed to the ZM outerdams to find the batcam of my bottom batten broken/missing.

Sailed to the ZM inner dams to fix it temporarily.  When heading out again the wind dropped completely. I managed to reach Hompelvoet non planing, crossed the island and sailed back to ODH, also in non planing mode.

Went to Zonnemaire for some real speed action 

and than there was not even wind for 7.1 : (

Wind was bijna pal ZW, en nam na 15u snel weer af.
Op mijn gemakje wat settings aan het uitproberen, vandaar wat weinig km's gesurft.
Snelheden vallen mij niet tegen met deze grote deur ;-)

Fully powered / overpowered ... board too big.

Switched to smaller gear but the wind died on us. Never got a decent speed run.

Niet de wind waar ik op gehoopt had! Dat was het dan...

Do never trust forecasts. Wind disappeared when I was just arriving at the outside dam with a speedboard 52 and 6.5. Walking and swimming back took 2 hrs. Nicd company with Hans all that way back. :))

Spijtig dat de wind er zo vroeg mee ophield. Hij is ook nooit geworden wat voorspeld werd. Maar.... terug op het water geweest toppie voor de mindfulness !
