A breezy day, nice to sail with a few of the regular speed guys. Not as windy as forecast, quite patchy. Started on the 6.2 but underpowered. Changed to the 7.0 and had a few good runs before it changed to NW.

Nice light wind speed day. 7.30am start to avoid the crowds, it got really busy by 11am. West and around 25 knots, and very on/off gusts, at times I was wishing I'd rigged a 7m. Quite a few of the speed crewe turned up, nice to catch up with them all. Hopefully we can get our small gear out. Was fun.

This the second session as worn other GW-60 watch in morning, slow wind start with only lightish wind, decided to try my isonic 49 ( 63lt ) board with Loft racing 5.6m blade and with 24cm black project fin other speed sailers on 6.3m and 7m sails. Its been months and months since been here as no wind and was 8th December 2022. Not the fastest combo but just intrested to see how this board and sail worked, fin had one wobble over traffic waves on first run and then settled down as got dialled in. gradually gained speed on each run and only started out in morning with 29 knots and slowly got quicker as i relaxed. Wind west north west and was quite broad at times and water was low in the lake and mean very shallow in places by the wall. There was a lot of traffic from car park to wall gybers at times and took some carful stearing past many in the water. Cloudy to start and thined with sunshine in afternoon. My summer- Autumn suit was toasty and warm as only 16c ish today. Car park was crowded as no barrier due to builders for the sea defence works going on and got moaned at by office staff as took up two spaces with trailer as others did same including lady that is office staff lol, one rule for one lol. note to self, park where Mark did and have car wheels and trailer just over onto yellow keep clear  line next visit and see if keeps them indoors happy :):):) Had a fantstic days sailing and look forward to next visit, Me Mark, Neil on wave kit ) Dave willows, and few others on speed kit did some good speeds ):):):):):)
