Well that was interesting. Simon lent me his world cup race longboard.. Thought it would be easy to sail well.. LOL in the the end anything but. Everything happens in slow motion.. its good fun and i still cannot believe how far upwind you can point the bloody thing. I think i could sail on this board all day long as you don't get tired at all but the thing is a nightmare to jybe and tack... Had no idea as to what settings would be best on the mast track and daggerboard but sort of got a bit of a feel for it at the end of the session. Lots more practice needed. The Demon 8.2 was good for this board and i think it would be the perfect sail for this board if the windstrength was over 20 knots Hoping to do a bit of summer crusing around the cornish coast on it once i learn the technique
