Nice morning session before work. I varied a bit with downhaul and outhaul settings to learn more about the trimming range of the Evo2.
Quick 2 hour morning session, stopped at 12.30.
But now i'm behind my desk working it is sunny and still windy.
You can't have it all.
Jacques, I see you sailed a C3 Venom... Good to see you sailed a high average with it !!
Nice to surf again, getting more and more dialed into my new boards.
Made one attempt for a nautical mile, just continued after a speedrun full speed into the building chop. Should have made it a little bit longer now there is a slow upwind in it. Nm's always turn out to be a little longer then you think.

Too bad I have no speedboard yet, today speed conditions were better than yesterday, still I was not able to go faster than the day before.

Marcel, you don't have your eyes in your pocket;-)
Last two sessions Martin was quicker than me so i had to do something and asked Martin to try his fins. Now i'm quicker, haha.
No, was not able to compare as Martin was playing with his sail the whole time and session was to short. My first impression of the fin is good if i look to the speeds. No spin outs, good grip.
But with my Falcons i have that aswell.
I will ask Martin to use them more often to see what happens. Its difficult to compare good fins with good fins and to tell the differences.
Today was a good day for testing the vapor09 6.7m2.
There were moments the sail was too big, maybe with the 6.0 I had been faster during the gusts.
But nevertheless a good idea where the 6.7m2 is able to.

I'm a bit dissapointed. The speed shown on the display is higer than the software. But well, sometimes it is higher and sometimes it is lower.

Also make 1 big mistake: the runs are too short. I was building up pressure on the fin near the dam, and then made the run downwind .... but only for 8 seconds. The speed during the downwindruns would have been high enough to have an average above the 69 km/hr ... but almost 50% off the runs are downwind, the other 50% is the speed I had near the dam during the "pressure build up".

Next time I think I gonna lower the boom a bit. Now I had everything on max: boom height, harness lines length ...

I think I have made my second highest average speed ever. Hopefully next time a PB.
Haha, the same average as Paul. Because my best 10 seconds is lower, Paul is faster than me.
Thank god, otherwise Paul had to go to the surfshrink.
@Marco. How bizar that you have the same average as me, never seen that before!

By the way when are you going to look for your GT-11 in your house? Then you will not make mistakes like this anymore, because you will see your 10s runs. Maybe I should not give you too much tips, as you are going faster and faster! You have it for a year now already and never used it???? Are you scared of it or is your garmin faster ; ) I can set it up for you, if you like...
