Time again for us in the southern part of Sweden to arrange a gps-speed event. The event will start on the 1stof May 2012 and will continue for the rest of the year.
The rules are however different from previous events that we had, but very simple. Race on any windsurfing equipment at any speed spot in Skåne - so at any windy day you can set out with your GPS at your favourite speed spot, which could be on the sea or your local lake and set your own personal record, the only limitation is that the session is being carried out in Skåne.
At the end of the year the fastest man/woman for the following categories will be announced as the winner:

250 m run:
500 m run:
1 hour:
Nautical:
Max 10 sec:
Max 2 sec:
Alpha:
You can view your ranking on www.gps-speedsurfing.comon a daily basis and in the end we will know who is the fastest windsurfer in the Skane –purely based only on sessions from skånska waters.
We use the GPS devices allowed by www.gps-speedsurfing.com.
And remember, the most important thing is not to win but to enjoy and have fun together!
