The windiest day we have ever ever had at Dungarvan. Luderitz style wind. Such a shame it was square, and couldnt really free off and get some decent speed. In the end we had to retreat when the wind went nuts as we werent going to go any faster.
Great to see a few guys keen to go out speedsailing. And although some didn't get in, the 4 of us on the water had a blast.
The day I've been waiting for, for 15 years... if only it had been broad.
Aah well, thats speedsailing.... always have to have something to keep us coming back for more.
In any case it was a good plan, well executed, and we reaped the reward.
