My first session at the inland sea since about March. Good to sail with Harry and Martin there.
The usual gusty and choppy conditions there, I think it was southerly which didn't help. Good fun tho and possibly a pb for me there today. Starting to get to grips with the new falcon, after changing the 32cm fin for a 34cm fin because of spin out and moving the mast base back a cm from center, it was starting to fly over the chop. The 30 to 40cm wavelets took the edge off the speed, I think I need a bit more practice in rougher water than west Kirby. It would be good to try again on a more sw day there, to see if there's less wind shadow on the Forrest section.
