When perfect gusty wind, the right location, flood, and a perfectly tuned freerace equipment all meet a well-rested me on a public holiday... then several new personal best are the result!

32.73kn is almost 1.5kn faster than my previous PB. Several 10 sec runs were over 30kn, and a 100m run 31.74kn.

good day at Haskins with a full speed crew – haven't seen this many speedsters in one spot since like… 2016? (even if we were split in shifts).

we had mostly "stripey" wind in the second shift, with the stripes on the very near and very far side; so a lot of luck was needed to get gusts that would fill in thru at least half the inlet or to connect microgusts. the wind gods smiled on me five times for a good session average…

…and big congrats to Max, who was only smiled upon twice, but made the most of those chances to post good runs and move to the regional lead in the 100m challenge! 

hoping for more windy days like this… since at long last we're getting some wind.
