I am broken, but I made some "Set PB's".
In the morning the wind was very broad for the dam. I tried all morning to get to my goal of today : go 65 km/hr with the 7.6m2.
Finally I went over it : 65.3 km/hr. But it took a lot of effort.
After a lunch break, went back to the dam. The wind was slight turning to a better angle, and more speedies were there. Now, I could do 65 km/hr with 2 fingers in my nose, but all my energie was gone.
Later on I increased my max speed further to a 67.89 km/hr!
That gave me some energy to continue, but at a moment I was really broken!!!
I have looked back to all my sessions with a 7.5 / 7.6 sail to see I my progress is:
Date : 6-6-7
Average Personal Best with 7.5 = 57.58 km/hr
2 seconds = 61.6 km/hr
Run = 58.9 km/hr
24-04-08
AVG = 59.67 km/hr (7.5 on the Manta64)
2 seconds = 63.77 km/hr
Run = 61.03 km/hr
07-07-08
AVG = 60.9 km/hr (7.5 on the Manta64)
2 seconds = 65.81 km/hr (First time ever above the 65 km/hr with this sail)
Run = 62.26 km/hr
04-08-08
2 seconds = 67.21 km/hr
Run = 62.48
02-10-08
AVG = 61.37 km/hr
So finally my PB's where:
AVG = 61.37 km/hr
2 seconds = 67.21 km/hr
Run = 62.48 km/hr
Then I went from Aerotech to Gaastra sails.
My fastest session with this set till now was on 08-03-09 :
AVG = 60.31
2 seconds = 61.19
Run = 63.33
So today I increased some PB's with the 7.6m2:
AVG 61.37 --> 64.11 km/hr!
2 seconds 67.21 --> 67.89 km/hr
Run 62.48 --> 65.34 km/hr

Wind, zonnetje, dat zijn leuke ingrediënten voor een goede vakantie.
Voor mij de tweede keer achter de dam in herkingen. En weer 4 pr's geboekt, geweldig! Zo lastig het was om op homespot de leyen boven de 60 te komen zo gemakkelijk gaat dat op vlak water, dit smaakt naar meer..

Leuk spelen bij de dam. Op jacht naar het verbreken van wat PRs en dat is gelukt. Alleen die dode rat in het water brrrrrr.
Ook nog wat gefilmd met de ATC5K.

Long time ago since I used anything smaller then 7.8 or 10.7.
Nice to sail 6.7 again, too bad I crashed first reach going outside. Ripped my (seat)harness in pieces so had to sail with my waist harness. Have not used it in years and everything feels so different. In the gusts I could not sit down to prevent the board from flying. Gybing is a lot easier though.

heb je een dode rat zien drijven in het water? Getverdemme!!!
Ik lees dat je nog wat gefilmd hebt, is het wat geworden? Ben benieuwd of ik erop sta, zowiezo leuk om een filmpje te zien van de homespot!
