Once again a weird wind day. Standing around waiting for the wind being totally unable to plane, then suddenly being slammed by 20knot out of the blue. Today I rigged for the gusts instead og getting caught in between like yesterday. The 10m2 rigged a tad fuller than usual proved to work pretty well. Once the wind was up I got decent angle both off and especially upwind.
Speeds are decent seeing as to how I had to go more crosswind than ideal to get enough power; the 10m2 is just not big enough once I get up to speed on a deep downwind.
R20 performed well, felt safe downwind though a tad unpredictable upwind. It goes really fast upwind as well; getting some 16-18 knots with decent angle on flat water. VMG seems good from the gps. No safe pointing fin for bumpy and rough days though, I believe it may be hard to get VMG when I canæt go for speed. We'll see..
