Wow, what a day, finally some real winds! Only the second time on my (Lorch) Custom Works and it seems I guessed right: this board works for me! An amazing 100m run of 75.5! I posted 76.4 as display max, but when I checked my gps later it appeared it was more: a 77.0. Allthough I should have taken the S83 earlier, who cares with these results?
I was on my way back to the beach to get the S83 and hit something in the water with my fin. Then I learned that decellerating from 67 downto 0 in a splitsecond is not pleasant experience. Ended up with a broken boom and bruised rib. Also it seems I took half the Wolderwijd home (behind my ear). Glad I wore my helmet and impactwest.
