started the session troubleshooting someone else' kit… and after jumping on mine, didn't have much hope for the day after doing one long lap, given the wind's shenanigans and their effect on the water.

but on a second lap i saw fast water appear…
…and disappear just as quicky, so did enough hunting to find enough patches of it until the *31* flashed on the watch.
